Whether it’s after golf, or a day at the beach, come enjoy our all-house-made cooking with friends and family at The Grill Room. Even our complimentary breads were just a sack of flour this morning. And our “Genuine Hospitality” includes spectacular views from every table overlooking walking gardens, lush landscapes, and our manicured rolling, tree-lined golf course. Plus, seasonal seating on our Patio puts you right in the middle of it all, surrounded by the colors of nature summer evenings as weather permits.

HOURS: Tues-Saturday 5:00 pm to 9:00 + Memorial & Labor Day Weekend SUNDAY nights. BAR SEATING IS FOR “just drinks” AND/OR food (as available) after 4:30 any night open. BAR Seating is for WALK-IN.

We have BOTH indoor OR outdoor tables available (weather permitting) for reservations. Our system accepts outdoor and indoor tables up to 7 chairs. Contact our CLEARBROOKHOST@GMAIL.COM for parties of 8 or more (some additional “rules” will apply for 8 or more). DO sign-up here … and please don’t call … we can’t handle the call volume at busy times.

OUR NEW PATIO IS GORGOUS AND OPEN SEASONALLY. OUTDOOR RESERVATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WEATHER CANCELLATION. WE DON’T SERVE IN THE RAIN. We generally have some extra indoor space for some of you, BUT NOT ALL.

PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED: We realize that many restaurants and/or restaurant patios welcome pets. However … out of courtesy to those with allergies, fears, or whatever reason … ALL OF OUR DINING SPACES ARE JUST FOR HUMANS!

We welcome State of Michigan-defined Service Animals trained to perform an essential and identified physical service or task which enables the guest to dine with us.

WANT A JOB?: We’ve got jobs as COOK, SERVER, SERVER ASSISTANT, or KITCHEN HELPER. Wages are the best in our area, our kitchen is gentle, low-key, and busy. Work is 4-5 nights a week, Tues-Sat nights, with Sun-Mon OFF, and shifts starting in afternoon until we stop seating at 9 PM. Vacation time-off may be possible during snow-months. Stop into our Golf Shop afternoons and ask to meet Chef Mike, Johnny, or Jim J. for a job interview.

HOURS: We’re in our regular DINNER service hours from 5pm Tues-Sat through summer. PLUS serving holiday weekend SUNDAY NIGHTS … Memorial, Independence, & Labor Day weekends … 5-9 pm

EXIT 41 I-196 is recommended, currently open both ways… but … Exit 36 is limited and includes a detour.

Patio and Outdoor Dining are seasonally OPEN weather permitting … Indoor Dining here has lots of circulating fresh air. We don’t heat the outdoors. We tried patio-heaters and found our spaces just too wide-open for them to be effective. We gave them away. So … dress appropriately for the space you’ve reserved.

Remember all the buzz about “10 at 10”? Those ten famous complete dinners, each for $10, started right here at The Grill Room in 2002 … permanently cementing VALUE into your dining visit to the Saugatuck lakeshore. Since then, sure, our menu has evolved and grown with the times, but The Grill Room is still true to its roots. Some of those same home-styled $10 dinners are still available, a little higher now, but a great dining value. The Grill Room serves five nights weekly year-round (Tues-Sat), plus Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch. Summer: Tues – Saturday Nights 5-9 (Closed Sun/Mon nights), the exception being Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch + Memorial & Labor Day Sunday Nights

Fall / Winter / Spring: Same hours, Tues – Saturday Nights 5-9

As a long-term (a/k/a: old) golf property … yes, we do have a DRESS CODE. It requires collars and sleeves for gentlemen playing golf, and sleeved shirts for gentlemen in food and beverage areas. Jeans and shorts are fine, but not gym shorts. Ladies may wear sleeveless.
